About Us

African College of Commerce is an Educational Institution Training Students in the Business, Technical and other Vocational Skills.  The institution was established on 12^th April 1986 and is located in one kilometer South of Kabale Town, Kabale District South West of Uganda, neighboring Rwanda and Congo. 

Kabale District is situated in the hills of South Western Uganda 400 kilometers from Kampala.   The hills provide a cool and calm atmosphere to its surroundings.  This is a place where roads snake up and down through the famous beautiful terraced and well decorated hills of South Western Uganda. Kabale is well known as the as Switzerland of Africa.

African College of Commerce is licensed by the Government of Uganda through the National Council for Higher Education - NCHE as an institution of higher learning.  The college is therefore mandated to examine and award certificates and diplomas which are recognized in Uganda.

African College of Commerce is also affiliated to Makerere University Business School MUBS for Certificate and Diploma Programmes.

African College of Commerce, is in the process of rebranding its name to be AFRICAN COLLEGE OF BUSINESS & TECHNOLOGY, logo and some of its features and activities.  The main objective is to be Universal, prepare for growth and include in more demand driven Technical and other vocational programmes (which are not commerce).
